Apple Music outage

On Wednesday, December 10, Apple Music users experienced some disruptions when the service faced an Apple Music outage. Starting at 2:53 PM ET, some users reported issues with delayed playback. This was not a widespread problem, but it did affect a small number of users who noticed occasional interruptions. The Apple TV service also experienced similar issues, though it too was only partially affected.

Apple acknowledged the problem on its System Status page, assuring users that not everyone faced outages. While the disruptions were brief, they still caused inconvenience for those impacted.

Users impacted by the Apple Music outage reported intermittent playback delays, especially during song transitions. One AppleInsider staff member experienced these issues firsthand. The issue didn’t seem to be widespread, with only a few mentions on social media, indicating the outage was likely limited. Despite this, Apple’s quick acknowledgment of the issue reassured users that it was working to resolve the problem.

While users didn’t report widespread issues, some experienced service interruptions during gameplay.

Other Recent Apple Outages
